Rocky Mountain Industrial Hemp Summit

The first annual Rocky Mountain Industrial Hemp Summit is a gathering of hemp enthusiasts and professionals who are interested in promoting the growth and use of hemp in American agriculture and industry. At the summit there will be presentations by industry leaders, demonstrations in building with hempcrete, decortication, manufacturing and more. This event is a space to network, learn the ins-and-outs of the hemp industry, and educate the public about the many uses of industrial hemp.

This will be an all day event hosted mainly outdoors on Fire Cloud Farm in Longmont, Colorado. There will be food trucks, vendors, live music, hemp themed events, and much more. Stay tuned for an updated schedule of speakers and demonstrators and follow us @rockymountainhempsummit

Hemp Building Company's Hempcrete & Lime Plastering Workshop : August 29, 2021 10am - 3pm

Come learn about the benefits and uses of hempcrete construction with Hemp Building Company. In this hands-on workshop, we learn about the basics of hempcrete construction through installing a hempcrete wall. We will be making our own binders, mixing the hempcrete, casting the hempcrete into shuttered forms, and finish with a lime plaster. We will also provide a lecture to give you a thorough understanding of the science behind the materials and uses of hempcrete.
